I had guests all day today and several comments were made about the hostas I have blooming. Seems no one in the group had ever seen a hosta with this type of bloom.
It appears (to all of us) to look more like a lily blooming.
And especially since right next to it (well, around the corner in the same planted area) is another large hosta with remnants of its blooms....they were the "standard" hanging down little purple lantern type.
Any answers, anyone????
